Manage configuration settings available on SONAR

Overview

In the Configuration section, you can adjust built-in settings or create new ones for your SONAR account. You can also manage roles, and configure locations, assets, and duties across your organisation.

General Settings

SONAR offers built-in configurations that can be somewhat modified or archived, and new items can be created to match your operational requirements.

Licenses Manage the types of licenses that can be assigned to users.

Training Manage the types of training that can be assigned to users.

Tags Colour Settings Manage the colour settings for safety tags.

Document Control Settings Manage the sections & locations for document control.

Location Settings Manage the limits, duty periods, and recency settings for each location.

Craft Settings Manage the limits, duty periods, and recency settings for each craft.

Bookings & Logbook

Create and configure aviation-specific logbook configurations such as flight task types, certifications & checks, and create general non-flight-related booking types, eg.g training, exams, simulations.

Flight Task Types Manage the types of flight tasks that can be assigned to a flight.

Misc Booking Types Manage the types of miscellaneous bookings.

Craft Certificates & Checks Manage the types of craft certificates and checks that can be assigned to aircraft.

Operations

Add and adjust crew duty types, details, limits and options.

• Make roles available to all or specific locations.

• Configure leave limits busing start dates and intervals.

• Monitor compliance using currency/recency checks and tracking crew experience.

Duty Types Manage the types of duties that can be assigned to a user.

User Leave Limits Manage the leave limits for users.

Currency Checks Manage currency checks for operations.
