Previews & Testers

Manage Testers

App Manager allows you to manage testers on Android and Apple devices. There are 3 different test types:

Apple Testflight

Account Team. Consists of users that are part of your platform account team, to include these users for testing simply enable access. This type is for users with Apple devices and is syndicated on Apple Testflight.

External Users. Consists of users you wish to add that are not part of your account team. To add a user, simply select the plus button and choose Add Testflight User. This type is for users with Apple devices and is syndicated on Apple Testflight.

Google Play

Google Groups. Android testers are added as Google Groups and not as individual users. To add a group, simply select the plus button and choose Add Google Group.

Preview Deployment

Preview deployments allow you to deploy a preview version of your app. This is useful if you are testing a new features, checking bug fixes or would like to allow a customer to review the app before going live. Preview deployments can sometimes require a store review which can take 24hrs to review.

Preview deployments can also be promoted to live once released. This means, instead of redeploying a new build you can promote a preview version to live.

Preview Deployment Destinations

Depending on the destination preview deployments are located and labelled differently. We have elected the word Preview as a more understandable common language instead of words like beta, alpha.

When you deploy a preview version your release will be available in the following destination locations.
