# Learning Story Analytics

## Where to find your content Analytics

1. **Open Authoring.**
2. **Select the options menu from a story on the Authoring dashboard.**
3. **Select Analytics.**
4. **Alternatively, open Analytics and select Stories from the left-side menu.** Here you will find a list of the stories you have published. Select the arrow to open the deeper layer of story-specific analytics.&#x20;

## **Certificates**

**If you create** [**Completion Certificates** ](https://everyday-digital.gitbook.io/authoring-docs/content-pages/story-and-page-settings/story-settings#completion-certificates)**in** [**Authoring**](https://everyday-digital.gitbook.io/authoring-docs/)**, then you can see which users have received a certificate, as well as the date of issue.**

## Chapter Analysis

**Analyse user performance per chapter.**

* **Highest Mark** achieved by a user;
* **Average Mark** story average;
* **Lowest Mark** achieved by a user, and;
* **Average Time** required to complete the story;
* **Average Score** per chapter;&#x20;
* **Highest Score** achieved per chapter;
* **Max Score** (achievable per chapter).
* **Chapter** number/name;&#x20;
* **Progress** - how many users have completed the story;
* **Last Update -** when the story was last updated;&#x20;
* **Time** - the average time taken to complete the story; and&#x20;
* **Average** story score %.

**By selecting the grey arrow at the far right of each chapter listing, you can drill down into page-specific analytics in order to view the results for each page/template:**

| Page-specific Analytics | Description                              |
| ----------------------- | ---------------------------------------- |
| **Chapter**             | Chapter number/name                      |
| **Progress**            | How many users have completed the story  |
| **Last Update**         | When the story was last updated          |
| **Time**                | Average time taken to complete the story |
| **Attempts**            | Average number of attempts               |
| **Average**             | Average page score (%)                   |

* [**Written responses.**](https://everyday-digital.gitbook.io/authoring-docs/content-pages/content-page-library/text-response) The user's name, how long ago the response was submitted, and the response itself will be listed.
* **View or export the** [**text responses**](https://everyday-digital.gitbook.io/authoring-docs/content-pages/content-page-library/text-response) **entered by the users.** Go to a Story's analytics and select Question Analysis. Use the settings icon to Open or Export (.csv format).

## Media Assignments

**View photos that have been uploaded by users in a** [**Photo Assignment**](https://everyday-digital.gitbook.io/authoring-docs/content-pages/content-page-library/photo-assignment)**.**

1. **Open Analytics.**
2. **Open Stories and select a Story.**
3. **Select** [**Media Assignments**](https://everyday-digital.gitbook.io/authoring-docs/content-pages/content-page-library/photo-assignment) **from the left-side menu.**
4. **You will see the media that has been uploaded.** Select the arrow icon (top right) to view details of the users who submitted media assignments.
