# Platform App

## Your Apps

**Each platform subscription includes a:**

1. **Web App:** this is often called a Progressive Web App or PWA. It is a web link that can be accessed on desktop and mobile (phone, tablet) devices using a web browser.
2. **Native Android app:** available on the Google Play Store for Android devices.
3. **Native Apple app:** available on the Apple App Store for Apple devices.

## Where can I find my web app link?

Once deployed, your web app link will be available from your platform backend account. 

1. **Login** to the backend
2. **Select the Account & Apps icon**![](/files/RS7x2avJsedLWdY53VqF) from the top right toolbar
3. **This will show a list of the web apps linked to your account.** Select the copy icon or open the link. In most cases, only one web app link will appear here.

## Where can I find my native apps?

**Simply search the Apple and Android stores using your app name.** Users can install/download the app to their device.

## How to save a web app / PWA to a device&#x20;

**To easily access your web app from a mobile device, follow the steps for the OS you are using.**

### Save the web link on Apple (iPhone & iPad)

1. **Open Safari** and navigate to the [web link](#where-can-i-find-my-web-app-link).
2. **Tap the Share icon** (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom centre of the screen.
   * *Note: If your address bar is at the top, the Share icon may also be there.*
3. Scroll down the menu and **select Add to Home Screen.**
4. **The "Web App" Toggle:** You will see a toggle labelled "Open as Web App".
   * On: The site opens in its own window without the Safari search bar (feels like a real app).
   * Off: The icon acts as a simple bookmark that opens the page inside Safari.
5. Edit the name of the app if you like, then **tap Add** in the top-right corner.

### Save the web link on Android

**On Android, Google Chrome is the standard device browser.**

#### Using Google Chrome

1. **Open Chrome** and go to the [web link](#where-can-i-find-my-web-app-link).
2. **Tap the three vertical dots (⋮)** in the top-right corner.
3. **Look for one of two options:**
   * **Install App:** This gives the best experience.
   * **Add to Home Screen:** To create a shortcut.
4. A pop-up will appear. **Tap Add or Install.**
5. Android may ask if you want to place the icon manually or have it "Add automatically."
